The purpose of this item is fabulous. My phone is always lost under the blankets on the couch because there is nowhere nearby to put it. Imagine my frustration then when I have my IPAD in my lap and have to find it-there is nowhere to put my IPAD while I search for my phone 😣
This is a great solution for my dilemma.
To my surprise, my IPad does not have enough metal on it for the arm to grab to. Fortunately, the arm has sticky tape on it 😌
I had tried a number of clips, hoping to get a way to clip my phone on my monitor. Most seem to accommodate only the thickness of a laptop screen. This one works on a monitor and works well! It also works on the right- or the left-hand side of the monitor. Great buy!

My initial review was posted by mistake as I did not remove one of the extra metal stickers off of the magnet. The bracket works great. Unique product!
It works too well and is very nice, the magnet is not very powerful for heavy phones; I have a Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 pro and it falls, I recommend placing it on the bottom of the screen to hold it also with the table
